Product Detail: Long Island is the result of a “usable aesthetic” which balances design and functionality.
The famous island inspired this iconic model of Chateau d’Ax.
The idea behind this design is precisely the “usable aesthetics” that combines refined design and functionality in a unique and high-quality product.
Versatility, modularity, great comfort and lightness characterize the Long Island sofa: linear geometries, bench elements with free backrests, make this sofa an eclectic protagonist of every living room.
The cushions, soft and without attachments to the structure, offer a practical and compact ottoman without backrest: an original play of shapes and lines that transforms our never monotonous sofa into an island of hospitality, conviviality and functionality.
Long Island is a versatile sofa, appreciated by those looking for a young design but also by those who pursue a timeless and always current style.
Chateau d’Ax knows well what real beauty is; you find it in every detail carefully treated by our skilled craftsmen and artisans that follow the most important production phases choosing the most valuable materials to create each product as if it is unique.Founded in 1948, in the heart of Brianza, between Milan and Como, a district of excellence in the production of Italian furniture.
